The latest trends and products await visitors to this year“s Intersolar Exhibition from 13 to 15 June 2012 in Munich. Augsburg-based system builder KUKA Systems will showcase itself to visitors from around the world in Hall A6, Booth 390.

This year, KUKA Systems GmbH will again present its customary wide array of automation options at the world“s largest exhibition for the solar industry. As one of the world“s leading system integrators for flexible automation concepts, the Augsburg-based technology leader has developed and established unique manufacturing solutions for the energy sector. These include examples in the industrial production of crystalline solar modules as well as modules based on thin film technology and solar collectors. KUKA Systems“ expertise in the solar industry ranges from individual process solutions to complete systems containing ready-to-connect PV modules and a high level of automation. At the same time, it supports manufacturers in increasing their competitiveness.
„In the coming years, we will be working extensively on process automation in the area of energy storage as well as on optimal device assembly. We will also be continually developing the manufacturing solutions of tomorrow“, explains Elisabeth Schaertl, Head of the Energy Division at KUKA Systems GmbH. True to the motto „Hands-On Automation“, new robot concepts are to play a major role here.
In the development and building of automated assembly lines for the solar industry, KUKA Systems draws on its decades of experience with the automation of production systems for the world“s leading automotive manufacturers.
