CO2 laser machine L-3200

With their specialisation in using CO2 laser systems for cutting non-metallic materials, the Lüneburg company eurolaser GmbH has firmly established itself on the world market. Founded in Hamburg in 1994, eurolaser, now with approximately 100 employees, is one of the world leaders in CO2 laser systems for cutting non-metallic materials.
One of the core markets for the laser systems is companies processing acrylics who, in many cases, manufacture displays, labels and lettering. An even bigger market is that of cutting plastic foils. The automobile industry, front panels for household appliances and keyboard foils all play a leading role here. Another trend in the use of laser cutting systems has been identified over the past few years. The textile market is developing exceptionally strongly. This includes technical materials such as filter mediums, through to plush fabric for the toy industry. The CO2 laser systems are being increasingly used in a range of industries for cutting and engraving. In order to remain competitive and enter new markets, many companies are changing from conventional production methods to economical manufacturing using laser technology.

The new laser system for higher efficiency and flexibility

The expandability of the laser systems has always been a top priority during development. Also the new models are designed according to a modular principle to ensure users are always provided with the right solution for their special applications. What is particularly interesting is the possibility of using mechanical tools parallel to using the laser in order to increase the processing flexibility even further. For this purpose there is a complete range of high-quality tools from Zünd Systemtechnik AG from Switzerland available to the customer. In addition to milling tools, numerous knives, creasing, marking and cutting tools are available. This makes it possible to ideally combine the advantages of a range of different processing methods in one single machine.
Moreover, special solutions are available such as the shuttle table that we developed ourselves, which enables loading and unloading during processing thus increasing the productivity of the system by up to 75%. The principle is simple. The tables are changed over within a few seconds allowing the laser cutting process to be continued with no downtimes. While one table is being processed the finished materials can be unloaded from the other table and then reloaded again from an ergonomically favourable position. This principle was developed a few years ago and has been implemented successfully ever since. The existing shuttle table version has now undergone further automation. Just the press of a button is all it takes to release the newly loaded table. Changeover starts automatically once the cutting process on the second table is completed. The new material is cut automatically while at the same time the operator can unload the finished parts without any interruption in the cutting process.
Fully automatic processing of textiles including unwinders and rewinders are available with the new laser systems. A range of small ideas and adjustments have simplified the system operation, reduced running costs and optimised the operating processes with regards to output and handling.
With this future-orientated series of processing machines, eurolaser has laid the foundation stone for the next years and has once again set high standards for the market.
